You do not need any programming knowledge and do not have to go through a lengthy learning phase. You can start immediately with your own booking website. All you need: texts, good photos and 10 minutes. It won’t cost you a cent during the free 7-day trial period. And even after that, the €9.92 per month you pay for the premium version of the DiBooq app will more than pay for itself.
- Download the DiBooq app (Apple App Store / Google Play Store )
- Register and book Premium (from 10,- Euro/month)
- Save your accommodation data (pictures, prices, descriptions, etc.)
- Activate the booking website in the app
Create a booking website in the DiBooq app
It’s child’s play. You go through the entire process using a checklist and, for anyone who doesn’t like reading, we’ve also made a video tutorial step by step by Sascha. See for yourself how easy it is!
Step 1: Select language version.
As soon as you have created your property and clicked through the formalities, you can set the languages in which you want to offer your vacation property in the DiBooq app. You can currently choose between German, English and Spanish and you can create your booking website in all three languages. Which in turn greatly increases your chances.
Step 2: Picture gallery
Your property lives from beautiful photos. You need to upload at least 7 images in this step to make your booking website both informative and attractive. Remember: a picture is worth a thousand words. So you should put a lot of effort into creating and selecting the images. Show your vacation property from its best side. Make sure that your pictures are sharp and taken in good light. You can also optionally add a description to each image, which we highly recommend for SEO reasons.
Step 3: Equipment features
In addition to the images that set the mood, the hard facts are of course important. In the next step, you can define all the important features such as number of rooms, number of beds, number of bathrooms, internet quality, TV reception, parking space, pool, garden, terrace, fireplace, etc. etc. here. This way, your potential guests can get a good overview of what your vacation accommodation has to offer with just a few clicks.
Step 4: Subdomain & domain name
The subdomain is ultimately the URL under which your accommodation can be found. It is therefore advisable to formulate the subdomain as self-explanatory as possible. For example, you can use the name of your accommodation or place a special property such as “meiers-haus-am-meer” in the subdomain. The entire URL is made up of your subdomain and the elements book and dibooq.com. In this case, it would be as follows: meier-haus-am-meer.book.dibooq.com
Step 5: Accommodation prices
With this step you set your accommodation prices. You first define a base price for the current year. Then you can add weekend surcharges, for example, which also apply for the whole year. You can also define your own base prices and surcharges for vacation periods, the peak season or for certain public holidays. That way you can work through the whole year.
Step 6: Telephone number & address data
Now enter your personal data in the mask. Your telephone number, mobile number, e-mail, fax, street, postal code and city as well as the respective country. The data is imported directly into the legal notice so that you comply with your legal notice obligation, which every website operator must fulfill. Interested parties have all the important contact details here at a glance, so that contact is guaranteed in any case.
Step 7: Your URL
As already mentioned, your URL is made up of the subdomain you have chosen and the elements book.dibooq.com. Please enter this complete URL in the legally required texts such as data protection information or cancellation conditions. The URL is the most important identification address for your prospects and customers.
Step 8: Set color scheme
In this step you can choose your color scheme for your website. This applies in particular to the color of the buttons on a booking website. You can choose between green, blue, purple and many other colors. It’s important to pay attention to the details and choose a color that stands out enough to support a call-to-action on the one hand and matches the color mood of your photos on the other.
Step 9: Finalize language version
Now you’ve practically worked through everything. All that remains is to write the headings and descriptions in the respective language version. We remember: We have German, English and Spanish to choose from. It is advisable to use all three language versions if you want to maximize your reach.
Headings
Now simply enter the headings in the respective language version. The headline should be short but meaningful.
Descriptions
Enter the description for your vacation property on the same screen. You should describe the advantages and possibilities of your accommodation in vivid words so that your prospective tenants can get an idea. Don’t skimp on words, but make the description as precise as possible.
Terms of payment
You can enter your personal payment terms here. We have prepared standard templates for you, which you only need to adapt to your needs. Read the templates carefully.
Cancellation conditions
Under this point you define the conditions under which your guests can cancel. We have also built a standard template for this area, which you should read through carefully. Because we are not. Legal advice.
Security deposit
You decide whether your guests have to pay a deposit. Or not.
Data protection / Terms of use
Data protection conditions must be defined for each website. You can also upload a prepared template from us on your own responsibility and adapt it if necessary.
You can but do not have to define terms of use. If you do not enter anything here, the statutory terms of use apply.
